Happy Sunday We are nearly halfway through June and this week is a fairly busy one for us. Today, we have the Moon in practical Taurus, which supports our efforts to produce something that we can say “look at what I accomplished!” This energy will be with us through Monday as well. So let’s see what this week holds for us.

Monday continues with the practical and productive Taurus Moon Energy, so make the most out of this. Tuesday starts off with an early morning Void of Course moon that will shift into Gemini as we rise for the day. When the Moon is in Gemini we become active, feel stronger emotional sensitivity and a need for socializing. We also have the tendency to fall under influences that can lead to the danger of getting off course and making mistakes. We tend to buy things that we don’t really need, waste time with contacts that are futile and visit unnecessary places and events. Emotions may become amplified but shallow. We may easily meet new people now, however half of the contacts we make will later turn out to be empty. Some of us will try to do everything all at once, which later leaves us stuck with unfinished projects and ideas. We also have Mental Mercury moving into Cancer today, where it will remain until the end of June. In Cancer, Mercury needs us to make sure our heads and hearts are working together. Today also supports small projects around the home and time with family.

Wednesday is our Gemini New Moon, which means its time for us to open up to some new ideas, go to new places, and meet new people. Venus will be moving into heart opening Leo today, where she will remain until July 9th. This is a time for our creative passions to be brought out. Mercury makes a harmonious trine with Uranus, which means we can benefit by stepping outside of our comfort zone now. And lastly, Mercury makes a challenging square to Chiron. where we may find that our mental focus and perceptions feel a bit strained. This transit could bring your mental perspective to a kind of “healing crisis” that forces you to get a better grip on the ideas, communication, and frame of mind that have been problematic for you. The Moon will go Void of Course in the evening.

Thursday morning sees the Moon shift from the restlessness of the Gemini Moon to an instinctive need for peace and quiet. Quite often, when the Moon is in Cancer, we all become homebodies. We want to retreat to the place we feel most at home. This can bring out a sense of “homesickness” if we’re far from home, or estranged from others. It may be a time, then of reaching out to those that know us best.  Venus will be making a challenging square to Uranus today as well, which means we need to be careful of temptations like impulse buying and being a bit erratic with our resources. Otherwise, our finances can become a bit unstable. Best thing to do is stick to your budget or if you feel you must buy that extra something, check your funds and be realistic.

Friday brings a trine between Venus and Chiron to start with. This can bring a great opportunity for healing and rebalancing, especially in the areas of relationships, finance, resources, and values. We also have an opposition between Mercury and Saturn, where we may find ourselves faced with challenges where communication is concerned, making it feel as though we are struggling to get our point across to others. If you are prone to depression or self-esteem issues you will need to give yourself a bit of space and love, because those feelings can be amplified during this transit. The Moon will go Void of Course in the early evening.

Saturday morning sees the Moon move into social Leo, bringing a bit of optimism our way. This Moon brings a cheery vibe, making it easier to be lifted out of the doldrums. Its a good time for presentations, celebrations and social events. You might want to leave the day open, and let your spontaneous mischievous child inside lead the way. Sunday is Father’s Day and this Leo energy will be with us for the whole weekend, so enjoy it with the Dads in your life!
