Week Ahead – Monday, March 26th through Sunday, April 1st

Happy Sunday everyone! Here we are in the last week of March and we are still waiting for Spring to make an appearance. For those of you in the UK and Europe, it’s Daylight Savings, so make sure those clocks have gone ahead by an hour. Today we have quite a bit of emotional lunar aspects, so try to just go with the flow of the day’s ups and downs without letting yourself get stuck in anything emotionally. Now, let’s see what this week has in store for us.

Monday starts off with an early morning Void of Course Moon that will then shifts into Leo before Noon, making the start of our work week a more friendly and vibrant one. Leo makes it easier to be lifted out of the doldrums. Its a good time for presentations, celebrations and social events. You might want to leave the day open, and let your spontaneous mischievous child inside lead the way.

Tuesday is a quiet one for us, but we still have that Leo energy to work with. Wednesday begins with a mid-morning Void of Course Moon that will shift into Virgo mid-afternoon. In this mutable earth sign of Virgo, the mood is geared toward busy productivity and adjusting with minor tweaks here and there. It favours clearing, refining, purging, detoxing and organizing. It also favours launching self-improvement schemes. We also have a conjunction between Venus and Uranus, making for a light and happy day. It’s not the best day for doing work that needs our concentration.

Thursday brings us a challenging square between the Sun and Saturn, making it a good day for doing small tasks and keeping a low profile. It’s a transit that highlights those areas where we need to accept our own limitations, boundaries, and expectations. How stressful this feels to you will depend on how well you deal with hard work, restrictive limits, responsibility, and authority. Those who have issues with authority, for example, could find themselves butting heads with someone who is in charge. The best way to get through this day-long transit is to find constructive ways to work with this energy rather than trying to throw ourselves against it. This is the kind of day/transit that usually has a very important lesson for us to learn about ourselves.

Friday starts off with an early morning Void of Course Moon that will be with us for the main part of the day. The Moon enters social Libra this evening, just in time for the weekend. Creating order is also the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We also have a trine between Mercury and the North Lunar Node. This is an aspect that brings us a fresher awareness as well as a better ability to communicate that awareness. It is a beneficial resource which can help us to take a few more steps closer towards our life purpose. Just bear in mind that we also need to take action too. We will need to, at some juncture, take into account what we have observed and do something with this.

Saturday is the day that Venus makes her move into sensual Taurus, one of her favourite signs to be in. She will be there until April 24th, bringing us a month of heightened sensuality and pleasure. We do need to take care however not to overindulge in those sensory delights. Some of us may feel the urge to be more grounded, practical and methodical under this transits influence and you will see this occurring in how we handle relationships, possessions, money, and material things as well as how we attract what we desire. Be careful though that you don’t fall into the shadow side on this transits energy though and become too attached to possession as a way to make yourself feel grounded, or just become too possessive of those around you.

Sunday brings us our Libra Full Moon, a potent one that can either motivate or challenge us. Libra wants us to focus on improving our relationships, but the Aries Sun wants us to be independent and go off pioneering a new path of self-discovery. Then we have good old Mercury Retrograde, who wants us to review and rethink the balance we have between individuality and sharing. Add to this a challenge by Mars, who wants everything yesterday, and Saturn, who wants us to be patient. We can benefit now by putting some physical efforts into our long-term projects. Just remember to leave some room for change with Mercury still Retrograde.
