Week Ahead – Monday, June 1st through Sunday, June 7th

  • Posted on May 31, 2020 at 7:31 am

Happy Sunday everyone! Tomorrow begins a fresh new month and June will be a good time for reviewing our relationships so that we can decide which need to be let go, which we should focus on, and where we need to make adjustments. Mid-month Mercury goes retrograde, turning our focus towards the home and family matters. And we begin a cycle of 3 eclipses that will take place between now and July. Today, we have some social Libra Moon energy in play, making it a good time for touching base with friends and family, especially those we haven’t seen for a while. Now, let’s see what this first week of June has in store for us.

Monday is a quiet start to the week, but we still have some social Libra energy in play. Tuesday morning sees the Moon going Void of Course until the early evening. It then moves into brooding Scorpio, where we have a chance to dig deep and get to the root of issues in our lives. Venus, which is still retrograde, makes a challenging square with Mars today as well. We’ll need to make a conscious effort to be diplomatic and not force any relationship issues right now.

Today we have a conjunction between the Sun and Venus, and Venus is now at her midway point in her retrograde cycle. This combo brings us a pleasant energy for relationship and financial conversations. However, keep in mind not to finalize any decisions just yet until Venus turns direct mid-July. The Moon will go Void of Course just after Noon on Thursday and then will shift into upbeat Sagittarius in the early evening. When the Moon is in Sagittarius our focus turns from inner soul searching to exploring the world around us. This lunar mood is very adventurous, active and restless for exploration. We want to experience life first hand. we want to get outdoors, see the sights, connect with nature, go places we haven’t been before. We just need to be careful with taking risks.

Today is our Sagittarius Full Moon, which is also a lunar eclipse. This will be the first Sagittarius/Gemini lunar eclipse since 2011-2012 and begins a series that will continue to December of next year. Sagittarius is ready for adventure and Gemini is full or that restless and curious energy. We will all start to feel that pull towards being adventurous after being in lockdown isolation for so long. This lunar eclipse is also part of a T-square pattern, which will have us simultaneously feeling pulled in 3 different directions. We’ll need to be adaptable and flexible now. We also have Mercury in a challenging square with Chiron, which can have us feeling mentally strained and unable to make decisions and choices. It does, however, force us to get a grip on our perspective.

The Moon will go Void of Course in the early hours of Saturday morning and remain there until the late evening. We have a challenging square between the Sun and Mars today and this can bring out an aggressive competitive type of energy. The Moon will move into Capricorn in the evening, adding to this energy, which has us feeling really ambitious to get things accomplished, yet having pieces of those goals getting done. This energy continues into Sunday.

Week Ahead – Monday, May 25th through Sunday, May 31st

Happy Sunday everyone and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Hard to believe we are at the end of yet another month. June looks like it will be a busy month with Venus still in her retrograde cycle and with us moving into a period of three eclipses transitioning from water and earth elements to fire and air. Mercury will also turn retrograde mid-month. Today, the Moon is void of course for a while, so it’s a good time for finishing up those old projects and tasks. Let’s see what this last week of May has in store for us!

As we begin our Memorial Day morning, the Moon will be in Cancer, which is associated with the home, food, and families. So it’s a great day for all of those seasonal barbecues! Just be sure to stick to any current lockdown rules and stay safe. Mars and Uranus come together today, raising our energy levels and motivating us in positive ways. Tuesday is a bit quieter but we continue with the Cancer Moon energy that focuses on the home and those closest to us.

The Moon will go Void of Course in the early hours of the morning and then will shift into heart opening Leo. The next couple of days are a good time to play, create and do everything that inspires us and lets us express our inner selves. On Thursday, Mercury moves into feeling-oriented Cancer, where we find it easier to communicate our emotions and begin those quick home improvement projects. Mercury will be in Cancer during its retrograde cycle that starts mid-June. Mercury also comes together with the North Lunar Node today, which helps us to express and communicate our destiny. The Moon will go Void of Course in the early afternoon.

Our morning may start off with us feeling somewhat sluggish, but this will change as we begin our afternoon, when the Moon enters Virgo. This means, as we move into the weekend, it will be a good time for spring cleaning, de-cluttering, yard sales, and eating healthy. The Sun and Chiron also come together today, which helps to illuminate those chronic struggles in our lives and to find new inspiration, motivation, or the confidence to rejuvenate our waning enthusiasm.

Saturday continues with the Virgo Moon vibes of getting organized in practical ways. As we begin our Sunday morning, the Moon will go Void of Course until the mid-afternoon, when it then moves into balancing Libra. It’s a good day for relaxing, being pampered, and sharing time with those we love.

Week Ahead – Monday, May 18th through Sunday, May 24th

Happy Sunday everyone! We are now in the second half of May. Today brings some high energy with the Moon moving into Aries. We also have the Sun making a harmonious trine to Jupiter today, which can push us to do more. It’s good to get moving around but make sure you don’t overdo it. Let’s see what this week has in store for us!

Monday continues with that fiery Aries Moon energy, so we can use that to get things done. An Aries Moon tends to make us want to start something new and fresh too. Tuesday brings much of the same until the Moon goes Void of Course in the late evening.

Today the Sun moves into quick-witted Gemini. Happy Solar Return to all of my fellow Gemini’s out there! In the early hours, the Moon will move into earthy Taurus, which turns our focus towards getting things done in the home, running errands, restocking our supplies, and doing some routine maintenance. Taurus is a slower energy and many of us may find that it takes us a bit longer to get going for the next couple of days. We also have a challenging square between Venus and Neptune today, which can bring some misunderstandings in relationships if we aren’t listening to each other carefully. So we may experience some ups and downs in our relationships and other areas that Venus rules, such as resources and finances.

Thursday is a quiet one for us, so enjoy it while you can because the energies coming in on Friday will be restless. As we begin our Friday morning, the Moon will be Void of Course until mid-afternoon. The Moon then moves into Gemini just before beginning it’s New Moon lunation. We have strong air elements in play right now, which is what will be causing a highly restless feeling for us. This is a really good time for opening up to new ideas, sharing with those we may have been out of contact with during this pandemic, and taking some short trips. Mercury conjuncts with Venus, which can boost positive social connections now. We have the Sun and Saturn in a supportive trine later in the day, which can help us to tackle any projects that need some organization and discipline. Lastly, we have a challenging square between Mercury and Neptune happening, which can make our mental focus feel a bit clouded at times. However, the other transits in play will help that cloudiness dissipate.

Saturday is a quiet one for us and a good day for doing quick errands and projects. In the evening, we have the Moon aligning with Venus, making it a great time for romance with someone you feel comfortable being with. Sunday is also a quiet day, with the Moon going Void of Course at Noon.

Week Ahead – Monday, May 11th through Sunday, May 17th

Happy Sunday everyone and Happy Mother’s Day to all of you in the USA! We have a few high energy shifts going on this week, which means we will need to try to go with the flow of sudden changes. For Mother’s Day, we have the Moon in Capricorn. While this may not be the most exciting energy, we also have som uplifting transits going on that help us to appreciate those who do so much for us. Today is best for any short and quick activities. The other energies to take note of this week are Saturn going retrograde and Mercury moving into Gemini. This will make us feel as if we are physically moving in slow motion with our brains running at 100 miles a minute. Let’s see what this week has in store for us.

Today, Mercury moves into its home sign of Gemini, doubling our mental energy. We need to make sure we give our brains some downtime for the next few weeks so we don’t overload it. Mercury also makes a challenging square with Mars today, which can bring about some hot debates, fiery speech, and lots of arguments. We can get through this one by keeping a tight rein on our judgment and objectivity when having verbal duels. We can tap into this energy and use it to fan the flames of motivation or take our ideas and use them to generate some positive and constructive action. We also have Saturn beginning its Retrograde cycle until September, which can make our energies feel stuck, heavy, and somewhat sad.

Just before Noon today, the Moon will go Void of Course for a few hours and then move into Aquarius in the late afternoon. There’s an impulse to break out of claustrophobic situations and relationships now, and we are friendly but in a more detached way. Thoughts about humanity as a whole, and ways to further its evolution are on the radar. We want to connect with everybody and are more open to those from very different walks of life. Mercury and Saturn come together today, making today a good one for serious communication and thinking, but not so good for initiating any new important actions. Lastly, we have Mars coming together with the North Lunar Node, which can help us follow through on all of those ideas that have been coming our way.

Today Venus begins her Retrograde cycle in Gemini, which will have us opening to new ideas around finances and relationships. Warrior planet Mars shifts into the sign of Pisces as well today, guiding us to open up our minds to our spiritual warrior. It’s a time where spiritual tasks, charitable acts, compassionate gestures, and imaginative pursuits flow more freely.

Today we see another planet begin its retrograde cycle. Expansive Jupiter turns retrograde in Capricorn. When Jupiter goes retrograde it changes our perceptions and perspectives. It allows us to gain a new level of enlightenment because we can go deeper within ourselves. It’s a great time for improving ourselves and preparing for when Jupiter moves forward again, bringing bigger and better things our way. Capricorn natives will find that things become a bit luckier for them once Jupiter enters their sign. Jupiter is the planet of opportunity and luck. Under Jupiter’s influence, Capricorn becomes blessed by good fortune and pleasant surprises. But this lucky energy doesn’t just affect Capricorn natives!

In the early hours of the morning, the Moon will move into Pisces, which brings an increase of emotions and a receptivity to other peoples’ feelings. It’s a mood when symbols, music, and images convey the messages of the soul. This happens through art, dance, film, photography, theatre, and play. It’s a great time to nourish the imagination. The Sun and Pluto come together as well, which can give our desire to spring clean a big boost because we feel a need to clear away anything that isn’t working for us now. We also have Mercury and Chiron coming together later in the day, which brings us the opportunity to think and reflect on our pain as well as to talk about it.

Saturday is a quiet one in the skies but we still have that dreamy Pisces energy in play. As we rise on Sunday morning, the Moon will be Void of Course and remain that way until mid-afternoon, when it shifts into fiery Aries. An Aries Moon can bring emotional vitality and the drive to act on our feelings. With the Moon in Aries, we’re motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. We get this gut instinct to start something new, as well as the motivation to do so. The Sun and Jupiter come together today, a transit that is considered to be very positive. It’s a really good energy for situations where we need to present an idea or project and need to get other people on board.

Week Ahead – Monday, May 4th through Sunday, May 10th

  • Posted on May 3, 2020 at 7:30 am

Happy Sunday everyone! We are starting a new month already and May has two big shifts happening. The Nodes of the Moon will be moving into Gemini and Sagittarius tomorrow, where they will remain for the next year and a half. They were in Cancer and Capricorn since November 2018, where the focus was on security and creating grooves that may have turned into ruts for many. In Gemini and Sagittarius, we get a breath of fresh air and passion. These two air and fire signs make us ready to open up to new ideas that help us bring our passions forward. It will be a time for us to adapt our way of communicating and thinking because the old ways aren’t working any longer. One downside is that cabin fever can increase, which isn’t good for the current lockdown situation. The other big event is Venus turning retrograde in Gemini mid-month, which means our relationships and financial situations are ready for some reviewing and revising. Now, let’s see what this week has in store for us.

The Moon will go Void of Course in the early morning for a few hours before moving into balancing Libra as we start our day. We also have the Sun aligning with Mercury. The combination of the Libra Moon and Sun/Mercury transit brings us a diplomatic and social energy. A lot of us will start to feel that change and restlessness are in the air as well, with the lunar nodes making their shift today. It will be interesting to see if more people break some lockdown rules by taking short trips within their regions. Tuesday continues with these energies.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the Moon will go Void of Course for a few hours before moving into Scorpio as we begin our day. We tend to feel things more deeply under Scorpio’s influence, which can feel difficult for some. It can also bring a time of healing as we delve deep to get to the root of our own inner demons. On Thursday we have our Scorpio Full Moon, and this is the third, and last, of the Super Moons for this year. Over the past three months, an abundance of feelings and emotions have been brought to the surface. The Scorpio Full Moon takes us to even deeper levels so that we can eliminate what we no longer need, especially where emotions are concerned. At the same time, we have the Sun in Taurus, which tells us it’s time to manifest things that are of genuine value now. Looking at this on a bigger scale, this pandemic has definitely shown us all what we truly need vs. what we thought we needed. We have an abundance of air and earth elements now, so we can come up with some innovative ideas regarding how we can manifest our needs in the real world. We also have Mercury and Neptune coming together today, which is a good time for creativity, hope, intuition, and optimism.

In the early hours of the morning, the Moon will once again go Void of Course for a few hours before moving into Sagittarius as we begin our day. Sagittarius brings our focus from inner soul searching to exploring the world around us. it’s a restless and adventurous energy that will be with us for the weekend, so many of us may feel a need to get outdoors. Just be sure to do it safely. Even doing a bit of work in your garden can help ease that restlessness while you get in touch with nature. You may even want to create something interesting for your garden, like fairy doors and magical looking areas.

As we begin our Saturday, Mercury and Pluto will be coming together to bring us some positive energy. It’s a great time for mental activities which involve research, concentration and investigation. It’s also good for focusing on ideas that require stages of development to be planned out. During this transit, it may be a good idea to write down our thoughts and ideas so that we can review them again once this transit has slipped by.

Sunday morning sees the Moon going Void of Course for a few hours before moving into Capricorn mid-morning. This brings our focus on being responsible while we are aware of our restrictions. It’s also a time where we feel more productive and less restless to get out or for short-term self-gratification. Mercury and Jupiter come together today, as do the Sun and Neptune. The Mercury/Jupiter transit wants to communicate our ideas and we tend to feel a bit more optimistic. The Sun/Neptune transit helps us to see the blessings all around us. It’s an energy that can temporarily lift us out of the mundane and into the sublime; creatively, romantically, and spiritually.
