Happy Sunday all! Well, here we are once again, at the last week of another month. Today we are under the influence of a Sagittarius Moon, which tends to draw our attention to philosophical themes and getting out in nature. So make the most of it today! Let’s take a look at what this last week in May has in store for us.

Monday is a quiet start to the work week, with that Sagittarius Moon energy still with us. This can help us in putting forth some big ideas and looking outside of the box and beyond the horizon. This energy will be with us through most of Tuesday as well, before the Moon turns Void of Course in the late afternoon.

Wednesday brings the Moon into the more serious sign of Capricorn, where we want structure and planning ahead. Some may feel a bit stressed now because a Capricorn Moon seems to amplify time restrictions. Also, if you have any communication related things to sort out, get them done by today, because Mercury will begin it’s retrograde cycle tomorrow.

Thursday sees mercury turning retrograde in earthy Taurus, where we will find ourselves reviewing our values, financial situations and our possessions and resources, to see how they will best serve us in the future. We will feel drawn to enjoying those earthy pleasures now too, with an eye for how they will help in the future, like gardening! And while Mercury is doing its backwards journey in Taurus, Venus will be joining it tomorrow.

Friday starts us off with an Aquarius Moon, where we feel a bit more detached and are drawn to the new and unusual. So, the weekend will be a good one for breaking out of our usual routines. Venus shifts into Taurus as well, and the planet of love really likes it in Taurus. Our feelings of sensuality and pleasure become heightened now, but we need to be careful that we don’t overindulge in those sensory delights. In Taurus, we may feel an urge to be more grounded and practical where our relationships, material values and finances are concerned too.

Saturday is a quiet one, but still perfect for breaking out of our routines with that Aquarius Moon. Sunday is May 1st and the Pagan celebration of Beltaine. The Moon will also be moving into dreamy and intuitive Pisces now. A perfect mystical energy for this springtime celebration!

Happy Sunday everyone! Sorry this is getting out a bit late. Sunday brings us Mars’ retrograde cycle that will run until June 29th, so we get to revise and review our actions and ambitions in the coming weeks. We want to make sure that the actions we are taking are in balance and harmony with our higher goals and ideas. We also have the Moon moving into Virgo, whose practical energy will be with us for the start of the work week. Let’s take a look at what the week ahead has in store for us!

Monday brings us a challenging square between Venus and Saturn, which can make it feel difficult relating to others right now. People may appear cool with their affections and emotionally distant. You could be feeling unappreciated, unloved, or unwanted. Avoid new financial undertakings, as they may prove to be “money pits” as time passes. There may be anxiety or troubles with regards to matters concerned with the feelings. Romantic disappointments, unrequited love, separations, and broken engagements are the more negative manifestations. However, the big news is the planet of destruction, Pluto turning retrograde today. So we have both Mars and Pluto energy in retrograde, which can manifest some troublesome and bad events on a worldwide level. We may see intense power struggles on some levels, or events where we don’t see an impact until weeks later.

Tuesday starts off with a Void of Course Moon, which will then move into balancing Libra by noon. We also have the Sun moving into Taurus for the next 4 weeks. It brings us a time where we can all get in touch with that part of us that wants practical, pleasurable, tangible and abundant things. Its a time for counting our blessings and approaching our goals in a methodical way. We also have Venus in a challenging square with Pluto, where relationships and interactions will more than likely be deep, intense and transformative. This is a transit that can show us the problem areas that need to be transformed and healed in our lives. Being able to see these things with more clarity can be a catharsis that will set those transformative healing energies in motion.

Wednesday is a quiet day in the skies for us, as well as Thursday, which brings us a morning Void of Course Moon that will be with us until the early morning hours on Friday. The Moon then moves into brooding Scorpio and we have our Full Moon lunation. This is an important and powerful Full Moon that is celebrated by several cultures in a festival known as the Wesak Festival, where many come together for the Budda to draw down this Moons energy into the planet. A Scorpio Full Moon can take us down to our emotional depths, and we have that Taurus energy from the Sun that works to transform our values. We can transcend our fears and manifest out highest desires now. We also have a conjunction between Venus and Uranus, which brings us a taste for the unusual. We just need to be careful that our itch for change in our social and romantic sectors doesn’t make us do anything too impulsive. Venus wants to bring forth greater harmony and beauty, and Uranus tells us that its time for change and to choose a new path or way. It can be a fun combo to work with, so let your eccentric and eclectic side out for a bit.

Saturday continues with these energies. In fact we have an abundance of harmonizing energies between several of the planets that are in earthy elements like Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo, all of which stimulates our desire to raise our values and manifest our innovative ideas in a more tangible way. We have the chance to improve areas like finances, relationships and material resources now. Just be sure to leave some room for freedom and independence. Just after noon on Sunday the Moon will be moving into happy go lucky Sagittarius, so try to get out and about and be a bit adventurous.

WEEK AHEAD – Monday, April 11th through Sunday, April 17th

Happy Sunday everyone! We have a bit of talkative and restless energy with us today as the Moon moves into Gemini. Its a good day for keeping on the go with quick conversations and short projects. Perfect if you have a list of errands to tackle today. That Gemini energy will be with us for Monday as well, so we can continue that theme for the start of the week. Let’s see what else is in store for us!

As mentioned above, Monday brings us more Gemini Moon energy to work with. Don’t try to tackle things that will bog you down or are too long and involved right now. Short and quick is the way to go. We have the Moon going Void of Course in the early evening to help settle us a bit.

On Tuesday morning the Moon goes from restless Gemini to that instinctive need for peace we get with the Cancer Moon. Try taking some time to spend with someone close to you, even if its just for a quick but enjoyable lunch. A Cancer Moon likes to focus on our inner circle of friends and family. We have a sextile between Mars and Neptune happening that has our intuition running high. We may feel more sensitive artistically, our imagination is stirred, and we have an increased appreciation for subtleties. We feel inspired and feel able to inspire others as well. It’s a very creative, where our ideas seem to flow magically and makes a great time for literary and artistic projects.  We do need to take care however, because it can be all too easy to get caught up in fantasizing and yearning for our hidden wishes. We also have a harmonious trine between Venus and Mars, which helps our close personal relationships flow forward more easily. There is a sense of passion and warmth, liveliness and sexiness for some.

Wednesday is a quiet one for us. We have a Void of course Moon early Thursday Morning and then the Moon shifts into heart opening Leo, drawing the focus to those people and projects that engage our heart. A harmonious trine between Mercury and Jupiter is also in play, causing many to feel filled with new ideas that they just want to communicate with everyone. It’s a really good time for stepping back in order to get a broader overview of projects we are working on, especially business related ones.

Friday brings us another quiet day in the skies, which seems to be the tone for the first part of the weekend. Aside from some Leo Moon energy to play with, Saturday brings us an early evening Void of Course Moon. Just after Midnight, on Sunday morning, the Moon shifts into practical Virgo, so keep it simple for Sunday. We have a trine between Mercury and Pluto, allowing us to get to the heart of things and making it a great time for mental activities that require some research, investigation or concentration. Things will get a bit dicey late in the evening as Mars comes to a screeching halt, but officially turns retrograde on the 18th. The effects of a retrograde Mars tends to depend on what it encounters along the way and how it chooses to adapt. We may see the weakest links in our lives fall apart suddenly, or need a bit of repairing. A retrograde Mars brings us the chance to draw within so that we can regroup and look for a new plan of attack on the challenges that we are facing in life.

Happy Sunday everyone and welcome to another new month! We have a couple of planetary retrogrades this month to contend with and Venus passing through her least favourite sign of Aries for most of the month. It’s fairly quiet day for us today with energies still flowing through from the Moon’s move into Aquarius on Saturday. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at what this first week in the new month has in store for us!

Monday starts us off with a Void of Course Moon that will then move into Pisces, bringing the intellectual tone into a more psychic vibe for the first couple of days of the work week. Sometimes Pisces can pick up on whatever emotions are floating about like a sponge, so we need to make time for things like meditation and stepping back from the chaos, if only for a few minutes at a time. The best way to tackle this is to put yourselves in environments that are healthy, rather than negative.

Tuesday brings us a late morning Void of Course Moon, and we see Venus moving into Aries, a sign she is not too comfortable with. Venus will be in Aries until the 29th and this energy can assist us in taking any forward steps in the areas of love and finances. It will require patience though! Venus wants the relationship side of things and Aries just wants to venture forth on its own, pulling us in two directions at times. We can use this in a positive way though, because we get a boost of courage from Aries that will allow us to create and explore new relationships, as well as any financial endeavours. Lastly, we have Mercury moving into earthy Taurus, making our thinking more grounded, solid and down to earth. Our common sense takes over more than fanciful thinking. Mercury will be in Taurus until May 22nd due to its upcoming retrograde cycle making its stay longer than usual.

Wednesday brings the Moon into Aries, where many people feel restless and want to just get things done “now”, possibly cutting corners that could create a bit of havoc later on. We have quite a few action oriented signs sitting in the element of fire right now and need to be careful that we don’t take on too many things at once. Remember to make some time for fun now! We also have a challenging square between the life giving Sun and burn your bridges Pluto, causing one part of us to feel impatient about finding solutions and the other part of us understanding that long term solutions need to be worked towards and requires patience. Its a time when we will feel pushed into making changes that have been coming for quite some time. Also, try to steer clear of any obsessive individuals if you can. There is also a trine between the Sun and Saturn. The Sun is energy and Saturn is discipline, and the Trine is the most supportive transit of them all. We tend to feel more up to the challenge of tackling projects that require real discipline and organization. And our hard work can really pay off now!

Thursday is our Aries New Moon, but the Moon will only be here for a few hours before moving into Taurus early Friday morning. As we roll into the weekend we have a mid morning Void of Course Moon and a conjunction between the Sun and Uranus, which can bring surprises, spontaneity and the unexpected. We tend to feel more open to new experiences than normal under this transit’s energy and breaking out of your usual routine is a good idea for the weekend. The Moon will move into Gemini Sunday morning. The Moon is the instinctual side of life, so when there’s a lunar Gemini mood, the trickster is afoot. Humour becomes a way of defusing super serious situations. This can also be a period of emotional change: feeling two ways at once without getting too deep into either polarity is possible. The weekend has a lot of social and fun energy to work with so make the most of it!
